This wall cupboard has its date painted on the upper right door – 1797. It still has its original lock and key and very charming floral details on the front panels. At some point it was fitted with two horseshoes at the back upon which it can be hung! The back was re-made around the early 20C and it has a more recent base sympathetically made and painted.
