This pretty 19th century chair is from the Halsingland region of Sweden in the north of the country. It has wonderful carved detail typical of this area and a beautiful pale grey colour which could blend in easily with furniture all over the house. I would find it hard to choose between placing it in the bedroom or bathroom or to have it sitting beside a table or sideboard downstairs as a useful extra chair.
